The New Jersey Department of Education would like your input, ideas and perspectives on key decision points that will shape New Jersey’s State Plan for the newly authorized Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V).
Career and Technical Education (CTE) and career pathway programs are an educational program that provide learners with the knowledge and skills they need to be prepared for college and careers. These programs include opportunities for students to earn recognized certificates that prove the skills they learned (also called industry-valued credentials), earn college credit while in high school (dual enrollment programs), and participate in work-based learning experiences (e. g. internships, job shadowing). CTE gives purpose to learning by emphasizing real-world skills and practical knowledge within a selected career pathway.
This is an anonymous survey that should take approximately six minutes to complete.
We appreciate your feedback.
