Open Enrollment

Stop! Look! Review what’s new!

We have made a decision to transition District employees back to the School Employee Health Benefits Program (SEHBP) with the state, effective April 1, 2020.

This year will be an ACTIVE enrollment where ALL EMPLOYEES will be required to re-enroll in the health benefits or complete a waiver if you are choosing not to enroll in the District’s health plan.

Open enrollment season is a period of time when District employees may elect or change the benefit options available. District employees may make changes to their medical, dental, prescription and vision benefits and/or enroll in a Flexible Spending Account or waive their health benefits during the period of December 1, 2019 – January 15, 2020.

The District offers the following healthcare benefits to its employees:

  • Medical Insurance with Horizon through SEHBP (Click here)

If you opt to enroll in any of the above District benefits, you will pay a portion of the premium for each benefit with the exception of dental and vision coverage.  Your payment obligation is based on contribution rates prescribed by state law. Click here for FAQ’s.

Enrolling in District Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Coverage
  • Flexible Spending Account

If you want to participate in a FSA, you must RE-ENROLL in this plan EACH YEAR.  There is no rollover option available with the Healthcare FSA.  New enrollment must complete a paper form here. If you were previously enrolled, you must enroll online line by visiting and send your confirmation to

The flexible spending limit for TASC has changed to $2750.00. TASC offers a wide variety of services; however, Camden City School District only offers the following benefits:

Medical FSA
Dependent Care
Transit and Parking

CRITICAL!  You cannot make any changes to your benefit plans after January 15th, unless you experience a qualifying life event (i.e. change in marital status, birth/adoption of child, etc.)  There will be no exceptions.
