In response to the public health related school closures, the Camden City School District Advisory Board will conduct on Tuesday, October 27th. 

All residents are invited to 'attend' the meeting and/or participate in the Public Comment portion of the meeting by following the directions below.

The virtual meeting will be live-streamed on the following platform:

Consistent with the district’s normal practice, the meeting will be recorded and shown on Channel 19 and YouTube.  Please be aware that it will not be aired on Channel 19 live.

Similar to in-person board meetings, we are requesting individuals seeking to comment at the board meeting sign up in advance.  A virtual sign-up sheet will be made available in advance of the meeting on the District’s website.

The sign-up sheet will be available for 24 hours prior to the meeting, and will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.

You may select one of the following options for providing comment during the meeting:

Option 1 - Written Comment:  Your comment will be read aloud during the meeting by the District’s General Counsel.  Complete this form to write your comment, or send an email with your comment to publiccomment@camden.k12.nj.us.

Option 2 - Oral Comment: You will call into the virtual meeting to provide your comment.  Complete this form to sign up to call into the meeting to make a public comment, or email publiccomment@camden.k12.nj.us with your name, address, telephone number, and topic you would like to comment on.
Call-in information will be located on the District’s advisory board webpage in advance of the meeting.  After the meeting commences, you will be contacted by a District staff member with additional instructions for calling into the meeting, including the call-in number and meeting password.

    Tips for Providing Oral Comment:

Once you call into the meeting, you will be placed in the meeting’s “waiting room” until it is your turn to provide comment.  Public comment will be done in the order in which you sign up.
When it is your turn to speak, please turn down off the Facebook live feed to limit feedback.    

Please note that the typical rules for public comment will be followed during the virtual board meeting, including limiting all comments, both oral and written, to 3 minutes.  There is a 15 second delay on the Facebook Live feed, as such, the timer that is displayed to the public indicating how much time is remaining for your comment is also delayed.  We will try to take this into account before ending your comment time.

The Board agenda for the meeting will be accessible on the Advisory Board’s webpage, located at the following: www.camden.k12.nj.us/divisions/ccsd_advisory_board.  The agenda will be posted at least one hour prior to the start of the meeting.
